Summary Program
Day 1: Hanoi - Bai Tu Long Bay
Activities: Transfer to Halong, board the cruise, enjoy lunch, kayak at Cap La Island, join the sunset party, have dinner, and stay overnight on the boat.
Day 2: Bai Tu Long Bay - Ninh Binh
Activities: Join morning Tai Chi, visit Thien Canh Son Cave, enjoy a cooking class and brunch, disembark and transfer to Ninh Binh for free time and overnight stay.
Day 3: Ninh Binh - Hoa Lu - Tam Coc/Trang An - Mua Cave - Hanoi
Activities: Visit Hoa Lu Ancient Capital, cycle through local villages, enjoy lunch, take a boat trip in Tam Coc or Trang An, climb Mua Cave for panoramic views, then return to Hanoi.
ITINERARY
Day 1: Hanoi - Bai Tu Long Bay Cruise - Overnight on Boat.
08:00 - 08:30: Our driver will pick you up from your hotel in the Hanoi Old Quarter area or near the Hanoi Opera House. If your hotel is located outside the Old Quarter, please kindly make your way to our office at 39B Hang Hanh Street for a convenient pick-up and drop-off.
(You may also leave your luggage at our office free of charge for the entire duration of your tour.)
12:00 Arrive at our office at Halong International Cruise Port. You’ll have some time to rest while our captain completes registration procedures. Then, transfer by tender to the cruise.
12:30 Embark on the cruise. Enjoy welcome drinks and listen to a short briefing from our tour guide before starting your journey.
13:00 A delicious Vietnamese lunch will be served as you cruise deeper into Bai Tu Long Bay.
15:00 Arrive at the kayaking area at Cap La Island. Enjoy canoeing among the limestone karsts and stunning scenery, swim, or relax on the natural beach. You may also explore the area by tender boat. Towels and waterproof bags are provided. The cruise will stop and anchor here.
17:00 Return to the boat and relax.
18:00: Join the sunset party with music and happy hour. Our chef will demonstrate vegetable carving, turning simple ingredients into beautiful flowers.
19:00: Enjoy a sumptuous dinner onboard.
20:30: Free time to challenge yourself with traditional Vietnamese puzzle games, gather your group or family for board games, try your luck with squid fishing, or simply enjoy a cocktail while taking in the peaceful night on the bay.
Day 2: Bai Tu Long Bay Tours - Ninh Binh - Overnight in Ninh Binh
06:00: Start your day with a Tai Chi session on the sundeck or enjoy the morning view of the stunning bay landscape. Coffee will be available from around 06:30.
07:00: Buffet breakfast is served - recharge your energy for an active morning.
07:30: Explore the well-hidden Thien Canh Son Cave.
08:30: Return to the cruise. You will have time to pack your luggage and take a refreshing shower.
09:15: Check-out. Please place heavy luggage in the corridor and leave your key on the door.
09:45: Join a short cooking demonstration to learn how to prepare fresh Vietnamese spring rolls, guided by our chef.
10:15: Enjoy a traditional Vietnamese brunch on board.
10:45 - 11:30: Settle any remaining payments, then disembark. Return to the port and wait for the shuttle bus.
11:30 - 12:00: You will be picked up for the transfer from Halong Bay to Ninh Binh Province. We have arranged a driver who will coordinate directly with the cruise manager to pick you up upon disembarkation. This ensures that you can easily meet our driver and board the bus arranged for your transportation from Halong Bay to Ninh Binh City.
12:00 - 16:30: (Approx): Arrive in Ninh Binh Province.
16:30 - 22:30: Free time to explore Ninh Binh in the afternoon. You can enjoy dinner on your own.
Overnight at a homestay in Tam Coc, Ninh Binh Province.
Day 3: Ninh Binh Tour - Hoa Lu - Tam Coc / Trang An - Mua Cave - Hanoi.
06:30 - 09:00: Enjoy breakfast and free time at your homestay before our tour guide and driver arrive to pick you up for today’s activities.
10:30: Visit Hoa Lu, the ancient capital of Vietnam from 968 to 1010. Explore the temples of King Dinh and King Le, and learn more about Vietnamese history during the Dinh, Le, and Ly Dynasties.
11:15 - 11:45: Join a 30-minute cycling trip to discover local village life.
(If you prefer, you may stay at the restaurant to relax, enjoy the view of lakes and valleys, or swim in the pool during summertime.)
12:00: Enjoy a buffet lunch with local specialties in a private dining area. Vegetarian options are available.
13:15 - 13:30: Choose ONE of the following destinations (please inform us before the tour starts):
Option 1: Tam Coc
Known as “Halong Bay on land”, you will enjoy a 1.5-hour boat trip along the Ngo Dong River.
You will pass through peaceful paddy fields, limestone karsts, and the cave system of Hang Ca, Hang Hai, and Hang Ba - offering a stunning and memorable experience.
Option 2: Trang An
A UNESCO World Heritage Site recognized in 2014.
Enjoy a 1.5-hour boat ride through its magnificent tunnel cave system. This is also the filming location for the 2016 Hollywood movie “Kong: Skull Island”.
15:30: Continue to Mua Cave. Climb 500 stone steps to the peak of Ngoa Long Mountain, where you can admire a breathtaking panoramic view of Tam Coc and the surrounding landscape.
16:30 - 17:00: Transfer back to Hanoi.
19:00 - 19:30: Drop-off at your hotel in the Hanoi Old Quarter.
