Detailed itinerary of Hanoi - Ninh Binh - Hoa Lu - Tam Coc - Mua Cave - 1 Day Tour:
07:00 - 07:30: Our driver and English-speaking tour guide will pick you up from your hotel in the Hanoi Old Quarter or from our travel office for the transfer to Ninh Binh. It takes approximately 2.5 hours to reach Hoa Lu in Ninh Binh Province.09:00 - 09:15: Take a short 20-minute break to relax and refresh.
10:30: You will arrive in Hoa Lu - the ancient capital of Vietnam during the 10th and 11th centuries. It once featured defensive earthen walls, palaces, temples and shrines, and was surrounded and protected by limestone mountains. Today, the ancient citadel no longer exists, and only a few traces from the 10th century remain.
Afterward, you will visit the temples built in honor of Emperors Dinh Tien Hoang and Le Dai Hanh, their sons, and their wife - Queen Duong Van Nga.
11:50: Get in a private car and head to a local restaurant in Tam Coc for a buffet lunch.
13:30: Arrive at Tam Coc Wharf and get on a private sampan for a scenic rowing trip through three famous caves: Hang Ca, Hang Hai, and Hang Ba. These caves are filled with beautiful stalactites and stalagmites in various colors and shapes. After finish visiting Tam Coc, you will have the opportunity to enjoy a bicycle ride around Tam Coc town and nearby villages, followed by a relaxing Vietnamese tea break
15:00 - 15:05: Continue biking around the Tam Coc area and enjoy your tea break.
15:20: Visit Mua Cave (Dancing Cave). The place attracts visitors with many interesting stories. Climb 500 stone steps to the top, where you'll be rewarded with a breathtaking panoramic view of Tam Coc, the surrounding countryside, and the Ngo Dong River.
16:55 - 17:00: Get on the tourist bus to return to Ha Noi.
19:00 - 19:30: Arrive in Ha Noi and drop off at your hotel in the Old Quarter. Tour ends!
