DAY 1: Hanoi - Bai Dinh Pagoda - Trang An Grottoes - Overnight in Ninh Binh (L, D)

07:00 - 07:50: Our tour guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter for transfer to Ninh Binh.

09:15: Short break along the way (15 - 20 minutes) to stretch, use the restroom, or enjoy a quick snack.

10:30: Visit Bai Dinh Pagoda, one of the largest and most renowned Buddhist complexes in Vietnam. In the pagoda, you can admire 500 stone statues of Arhats, a giant bronze bell weighing 27 - 36 tons, and the impressive golden statue of the Goddess of Mercy.

12:00: Enjoy a buffet lunch with local specialties at our Restaurant. (vegetarian options are available).

   

13:30: Head to Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex - a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Embark on a peaceful 2.5 - hour boat trip through the majestic limestone cliffs and mysterious caves, including Sang Cave, Toi Cave, Ba Giot Cave, and Nau Ruou Cave.

17:00: Check in to your accommodation at the Bungalow. Enjoy your free time to relax or swim.

19:00: Have dinner and enjoy a peaceful evening at the retreat. (Tour guide is not available until next morning.)
 

DAY 2: Hoa Lu - Tam Coc Grottoes - Mua Cave - Hanoi (B, L)

Morning: Breakfast will be served at the homestay. Enjoy some free time to walk around and explore the tranquil neighborhood.

10:00: Visit Hoa Lu - the ancient capital of Vietnam during the 10th and 11th centuries. Explore the temples built in honor of Emperors Dinh Tien Hoang and Le Dai Hanh, their sons, and their wife - Queen Duong Van Nga.

12:00: Enjoy a lunch at our restaurant with great local cuisine.

13:00: Depart for Tam Coc Wharf, also known as the "Halong Bay on land." Take a peaceful sampan boat ride through three stunning caves - Hang Ca, Hang Hai, and Hang Ba - while discovering the scenic waterways, limestone mountains and rice fields.

   

15:30: Climb over 500 stone steps to the top of Mua Cave (Dancing Cave). From the summit of Ngoa Long Mountain, you’ll enjoy one of the most stunning panoramic views of Tam Coc and the surrounding countryside.

16:30: Depart Ninh Binh and head back to Hanoi by bus.

19:00: Arrive at your hotel in Hanoi. End of tour.

What to bring: A Camera, A hat & sunscreen, An Umbrella or raincoat / Appropriate clothing for the season / Please do not wear shorts into temple.
