Ninh Binh Tour 2 Days 1 Night: Hanoi - Ninh Binh - Hoa Lu - Trang An - Mua Cave - Cuc Phuong National Park

DAY 1: Ha Noi - Hoa Lu - Trang An -  Mua Cave - Overnight in Ninh Binh (L,D)

07:00 - 07:50: Our friendly guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter or the Opera House area. Departure time depends on your location.
 

09:15: Short break along the way (15 - 20 minutes) to stretch, use the restroom, or enjoy a quick snack.
 

10:15: Visit Hoa Lu - the ancient capital of Vietnam during the 10th and 11th centuries. Explore the temples built in honor of Emperors Dinh Tien Hoang and Le Dai Hanh, their sons, and their wife - Queen Duong Van Nga. Afterward, enjoy a biking tour around the nearby village, where you can observe daily life and peaceful countryside scenery.
 

12:00: Enjoy a buffet lunch at our Restaurant, designed in an eco-style setting. The menu includes Ninh Binh local specialties such as goat meat, spring rolls, fish, chicken, fried rice, and fresh vegetables, etc. (Vegetarian options are available.)

   
 

13:30: Visit Trang An, a World Heritage Site recognized by UNESCO in 2014. There, you can spend 1.5 hours on the boat ride to enjoy the beauty of this place, which has a beautiful tunnel cave system and appears in the movie Kong in 2016 - “Skull Island”.
 

15:30: Board the limousine bus to Mua Cave (Dragon Peak), then climb over 500 stone steps to the summit of Ngoa Long Mountain. From the top, you will be rewarded with one of the most breathtaking panoramic views of Tam Coc and the surrounding countryside. In summer, don’t miss the nearby lotus fields in full bloom.
 

17:00: Check-in at the bungalow. Free time to relax or enjoy the swimming pool.
 

19:00: Dinner is served at the retreat’s restaurant. Afterward, take a peaceful walk around the Trang An area. Overnight at the bungalow.
 

Day 2: Ninh Binh - Cuc Phuong National Park - Ha Noi (B,L)
 

Morning: Enjoy breakfast at the retreat and prepare for the day's adventure.
 

08:45: Depart for Cuc Phuong National Park, Vietnam’s oldest and most biodiverse tropical forest.
 

10:30: Begin your visit at the Endangered Primate Rescue Center, a non-profit organization dedicated to the rehabilitation, breeding, research, and conservation of endangered primates, as well as the protection of their natural habitats.
 

12:00: Have lunch at a local restaurant with traditional Vietnamese dishes.
After lunch, take a short trek into the forest to explore the rich biodiversity of Vietnam’s oldest national park. Visit the Cave of Prehistoric Man (Nguoi Xua Cave), one of the country's oldest archaeological sites, with evidence of human habitation dating back over 7,500 years.


 

16:00: Board the limousine bus for the return trip to Hanoi.
 

18:30: Arrive in Hanoi. Drop-off at your hotel. End of tour.

What to bring: A Camera, A hat & sunscreen, An Umbrella or raincoat / Appropriate clothing for the season / Please do not wear shorts into temple.
